Buy Uniroid HC ointment for piles
Uniroid-HC preparations contain 2 active ingredients: hydrocortisone and cinchocaine, which is used to treat haemorrhoids. Hydrocortisone works to reduce inflammation, itching and torn skin around the anus. Cinchocaine is an anaesthetic used to relieve pain.
This treatment is available in two forms; ointment/cream or suppositories. The ointment is generally prescribed for external piles (however, it can be applied to internal piles with the included applicator).
Uniroid HC suppositories are typically prescribed to treat internal hemorrhoids (piles). However, at Ashcroft Pharmacy, we currently only supply the ointment form.
How does Uniroid-HC cream work?
Uniroid HC ointment works through its two main active ingredients: hydrocortisone (a corticosteroid) and cinchocaine (a local anesthetic). Here's how each component contributes to the effectiveness of Uniroid ointment:
Hydrocortisone (Corticosteroid):
Anti-Inflammatory Action: Hydrocortisone has anti-inflammatory properties, helping to reduce swelling and inflammation in the affected area.
Immune System Regulation: As a corticosteroid, hydrocortisone can modulate the immune response, further contributing to the reduction of inflammation.
Cinchocaine (Local Anesthetic):
Pain Relief: Cinchocaine is a local anesthetic that provides relief from pain by numbing the nerves in the application area.
Itching and Discomfort: By blocking nerve signals, cinchocaine helps alleviate itching and discomfort associated with hemorrhoids.
Combined Effect:
The dual-action formula of these two active ingredients in Uniroid HC cream aims to provide comprehensive relief from the symptoms of hemorrhoids.
Hydrocortisone addresses the inflammation, while cinchocaine focuses on pain relief and reducing discomfort. This dual-action approach makes Uniroid HC effective in managing the symptoms of hemorrhoids.
How effective Uniroid HC ointment for rectal hemorrhoids?
Uniroid HC ointment is a prescription medication commonly prescribed to treat piles (haemorrhoids), lumps inside and around your bottom (anus). It is 100% effective fast acting solution for this purpose.
This treatment can be more effective, and to get the best results, it should be combined with healthy dietary changes, as recommended by healthcare providers.
Best pilescream: Uniroid HC or Proctosedyl?
Uniroid HC and Proctosedyl are both medications used to treat various conditions related to the ano-rectal area, but they have different compositions and are used for slightly different purposes.
Uniroid HC Ointment:
Indications: Uniroid HC cream is a corticosteroid-based piles medicine formulated to alleviate the symptoms of hemorrhoids, such as pain, inflammation, and itching.
Composition: Uniroid HC combines hydrocortisone, a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation and swelling, with cinchocaine, an anesthetic that numbs the area to provide pain relief. These active ingredients work together to offer targeted relief from the discomfort associated with hemorrhoids.
Proctosedyl Ointment:
Indications: Proctosedyl Ointment is another POM treatment for hemorrhoids (Piles), particularly when there is an inflammatory component or if infection is a concern. The addition of framycetin provides antibacterial properties.
Composition: Proctosedyl contains two active ingredients, hydrocortisone (corticosteroid) and cinchocaine (anesthetic), similar to Uniroid-HC cream. Additionally, it contains another component called framycetin, which is an antibiotic.
It's important to note that the choice between Uniroid HC and Proctosedyl depends on the specific needs of the patient, the nature of their condition, and the healthcare professional's recommendation.
