Overview
NOTE: After selecting this product, you will need to complete a short assessment, so we can make sure this medication is suitable for you.
What is Rozex and what is it used for?
Rozex is available in two forms: Gel and Cream. Apply directly to the affected areas to eliminate factors (pimples, pustules (spots), and redness causing rosacea. Rosacea is a long-term skin condition (affects the face), and Rozex manages symptoms but does not cure it.
Rozex Gel and Cream both contain the same active ingredient, metronidazole (a powerful antibiotic), at a concentration of 0.75%.
Metronidazole is classified as an antiprotozoal or antibacterial agent (nitroimidazole antibiotic). It’s very easy to use; just apply it twice daily or as directed. Rozex can effectively clear up your skin condition in a matter of weeks or months.
You can buy Rozex gel or cream online at Ashcroft Pharmacy UK at a competitive price by filling out a quick online consultation form with our pharmacy team.

How to apply Rozex?
Before application:
- First, wash and dry the face before applying Rozex
- Use a mild soap or cleanser to clean your hands and face
- Then dry your face thoroughly
Applying Rozex:
- Take a small amount of cream onto your fingertip
- Apply cream or gel evenly in a thin layer to the affected areas
- Gently rub it in until absorbed
- Use twice a day (morning and evening)
- Avoid contact with eyes and mouth
- Wash your hands after use

If you're also using Mirvaso gel, apply it first. Once it's dried, apply the Rozex gel/cream. You can use other cosmetic products after Rozex has dried.
If you forget to use Rozex?
If you forget to use Rozex, it's okay. Just start using it again when you remember. Keep using it regularly for the best results as directed.
If you stop taking Rozex?
Continue using Rozex until you've finished the course, even if your symptoms improve within a few days or weeks. Stopping the medication too early or midway could lead to a recurrence of the infection, as Rosacea tends to respond slowly to antibiotics.
