When using the Mounjaro KwikPen, it’s important to follow your doctor’s instructions carefully. The dosage can be 2.5 mg, 5 mg, 7.5 mg, 10 mg, 12.5 mg, or 15 mg, depending on what your treatment plan calls for. Always use the pen exactly as directed by your healthcare provider.
This treatment should be taken in conjunction with a well-balanced, calorie controlled/nutritional diet. No more than 30% of your calories should come from fat and your diet should generally be rich in fruit and vegetables.

Mounjaro (tirzepatide) injection Dose Titration Schedule:
Tirzepatide is a clear to slightly yellow solution available in pre-filled, single-dose pens in 6 strengths, including 2.5 mg/5 mg/7.5 mg/10 mg/12.5 mg/15 mg.
Gradual titration of Tirzepatide (Mounjaro) is recommended to allow the body to adjust to the medication and minimize potential side effects.
- Start with 2.5 mg once weekly for the first 4 weeks.
- Increase to 5 mg once weekly for at least 4 weeks.
Further increases in 2.5 mg increments can be made every 4 weeks (i.e., 7.5 mg, 10 mg, 12.5 mg, and up to 15 mg), based on the patient’s response and tolerability.
